What are the dates of the festival?
The Dartmoor Outdoor Festival runs between Friday 29th August 2025 to Friday 5th September 2025.
Where is the festival taking place?
The hub of the festival will be in Princetown where there will be live music, a film showing, talks and workshops but there will be events taking place across all 368 square miles of Dartmoor so wherever you're coming from, there will be an event that you can access!
How much will it cost?
Events will be individually priced to try and make the festival as financially accessible to as many people as possible. There will also be some free events and ways you can join in with festivities without spending too much money!
Who is it for?
Dartmoor Outdoor Festival is for everyone and anyone who would like to spend some time getting to know Dartmoor better, take part in our fantastic outdoor activities or celebrate the amazing community that exists on Dartmoor. It is for people of all ages and of all abilities, whether you're an experienced mountaineer or have never walked on Dartmoor before, there will be something for you.
What will I need to bring?
When you book onto events, there will be guidance in the booking information about what you need to bring for that particular event. Generally speaking though, if you're joining us for an outdoor event, you'll need comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting dirty and sturdy shoes or walking boots.
Can I bring my dog?
When you book onto events, there will be guidance in the booking information about whether it is a dog-friendly event. If you are on a walk with a dog, please refer to the information from Dartmoor National Park about enjoying Dartmoor with your dog in a way that protects this special landscape.
