Guided Photography Walk
Event Description
Join Tom Dauben, a Dartmoor based landscape photographer for a 3-hour guided photo walk taking in forest, river and a tor at sunset. This accessible walk is aimed at beginner photographers; you don’t need fancy gear or any experience with a camera, your phone is fine. The walk will start in the Forestry England car park by Bellever Bridge. Before setting off, Tom will explain some tips to help compose images and share some examples. The walk will proceed to the old clapper bridge, along the riverside, through the forest, aiming to arrive at Bellever Tor around sunset. Participants will also receive an exclusive discount code for Tom’s book ‘Dartmoor Unedited’ to give them some inspiration for further photographic opportunities within the National Park. All you need to bring with you is your camera/phone, some sturdy footwear and some appropriate clothing for the weather forecast - it is Dartmoor after all.
Date: Monday 1st September 2025
Time: 6.30 - 9.30pm
Start location: Bellever Forest car park
Dogs? Due to the nature of this activity, we ask that you do not bring your dog(s). With thanks.
