An Evening with Search & Rescue
Event Description
Join us at Princetown Community Centre for a special evening with members from the Ashburton, Plymouth and Okehampton Dartmoor Search and Rescue Teams.
They'll be sharing information about the vital, lifesaving work they do along with some tips on how to stay safe on the moors and look after yourself and those you're with. They'll also be regaling us with some anecdotes from their experience within the teams and sharing some of their own calamitous stories!
This will be a fun and informative evening with all profits going to the Dartmoor Search and Rescue Teams. They receive no government funding and rely solely on funds donated by members of the public which is why they are one of the two designated charities of the festival.
