Belstone Bimble: a stone circle and wild swims
Event Description:
Join Sue for a varied walk up the military track from Belstone to the Taw Ford for a dip then up over Belstone Tor at the higher tor end and a dip at Cullever steps. Then along a grassy track to the Nine Maidens stone circle and on to Belstone where there is an opportunity for refreshment! The river valleys can be damp, and the paths can be uneven, the moorland section is largely on tracks, but ground is uneven and can be boggy. The outwards track from Belstone is paved with gravel and stones. A steepish ascent to the summit of Belstone Tor, approximately 300m of height gained and lost en route.
