Introduction to Nordic Walking (British Nordic Walking) at Fernworthy
Event Description:
Join Andy for a 2 ½ hour introduction to Nordic Walking skills in the morning followed by 2 hours of skills practice and walking through the forest to the open moor after lunch. The location is close to Chagford ( 5 minute drive) for participants to purchase refreshments. Usually, during the summer, Moorish Moments (https://www.facebook.com/MoorishMoments1/) offer a lovely selection of snacks and treats from their van at Fernworthy car park. Accessible walk: Accessible to all walking abilities but not suitable for wheelchair users
Distance: 1-2km in the morning and 4-6km in the afternoon
