Disasters on Dartmoor Letterboxing Walk Clue Sheets
Letterboxing has been taking place on Dartmoor for over 40 years and we are delighted to be part of this tradition this year with a charity walk, raising money for Devon Air Ambulance!
This gentle family friendly walk starting from Pork Hill car park has been organised as part of the Dartmoor Outdoor Festival and consists of 8 stamps plus a thank you with clues in a circular walk of about 3 miles in the Pork Hill area. Stamps will be on site from 1st April 2025 - 1st October 2025 so you don't need to wait for the festival to take part. Please replace any cover stones carefully.
Advice from DNPA:-
• Please be aware that the peak time for ground nesting birds is between 1 March and 30 July. They do nest in clitter and under rocks, so please take care when looking for letterboxes.
• If you see a nest or a distressed bird in the vicinity, please move away quickly.
• All dogs must be under close control to avoid disturbance to wildlife and livestock.
The price is £2.50 per clue sheet but we have added the transaction fees that we occur to the price so the whole £2.50 can go to Devon Air Ambulance.
