Event Description:

Explore beautiful Bellever Forest with a guided walk and talk with Forestry England’s community ranger, Shaun Woodward.

Shaun will introduce the history of sustainable forest management in the UK and how

Forestry England manages the nation’s forests and woodlands for timber, wildlife, and

people. We’ll explore how forestry is managed on Dartmoor and what challenges the future holds for our forests. There will lots of chances to ask questions.

We recommend bringing binoculars if you have them, as there is plenty of wildlife to spot along the way.
